About and hour and half away from Philly is Bushkill Park, a smaller, family-friendly amusement park perfect for children. Historic Bushkill Park is famous for its antique rides, such as bumper cars, and has one of the oldest funhouses in the world. The park is currently undergoing some renovation but a revival is expected, especially after the park was featured on American Pickers.
Fans of Auguste Rodin will not miss the Rodin Museum for the world. This famous French artist created works such as The Gates of Hell, the Burghers of Calais and The Thinker. The 700 Club on North Second Street in Philadelphia might shock those who think the name is related to the talk show. Philly’s 700 Club is booming with an eclectic mix from the DJs, with the party spilling out through the two-story building. With an assortment of over 80 bottled beers, 12 beers on tap and a whole assortment of liquor, the bartenders can probably serve up more than just 700 different drinks at this nightlife destination.
