The Penn Quakers of the University of Pennsylvania never quake in the face of a challenge. UPenn’s athletic department encompasses 27 varsity sports including baseball, basketball, crew, lacrosse, soccer and football. This Ivy League school shows its talent for athletics as well as academics with three NCAA national championships in men’s fencing and one in women’s.
Children who are fond of all that crawls, wiggles and flies will have a blast at The Insectarium. Filled with thousands of mounted bugs as well as live specimen, this all-bug museum is the largest of its kind in the country. Come see what all the buzz is about as you tour the interactive exhibits and attractions. Bug-a-phobes (entomophobes), should keep clear!

With more than 13,000 labeled plants representing over 2,500 different species, it is no surprise that the Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania is the official arboretum of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. See horticulture from North America, Europe and Asia all together in one outdoor venue.
Formerly known as the Arch Street Opera House, the Trocadero Theatre has a rich history. Built in 1870, this entertainment venue has hosted musical comedies, vaudeville and burlesque shows, as well as an art house cinema and fine arts. Currently, this theater serves as a concert hall and dance club with a variety of popular national bands performing and recording at this venue.
