Set aside some time to visit the oldest surviving botanical garden in the United States. Bartram’s Garden covers 46 acres in Fairmount Park, and is open to the public for free admission. Try taking a tour inside the historic garden area (the original 8-acre garden begun in 1728), the historic stone house, through the elaborate grove and the largest variety of North American plants in the world.
Love musical theater? Sit back and relax as you witness some of the most unique entertainment in the Philly area. The Prince Music Theater is renowned for its specialized music theater pieces including operas, comedies, dramas and several experimental forms of musical performances.

Famous for its large LOVE sculpture, Love Park brings together concrete and greenery in a harmonious outdoor marriage. This mixed-use urban park features a large single spout fountain, large granite walk areas and benches.
The Penn Quakers of the University of Pennsylvania never quake in the face of a challenge. UPenn’s athletic department encompasses 27 varsity sports including baseball, basketball, crew, lacrosse, soccer and football. This Ivy League school shows its talent for athletics as well as academics with three NCAA national championships in men’s fencing and one in women’s.
