Raise a glass to Tippler’s Tour. This adult only tour is held at 5:30PM on Thursdays from April until December during which participants can enjoy a selection of local brews as they learn about the city’s history. This Historic Pub Crawl creates a setting of 1777 and teaches guests about the tribulations of being a British soldier in Philadelphia, the taverns of the day and a few other fun tidbits. Cheers!
Travel across state lines for a journey under the sea. Adventure Aquarium features 8,000 aquatic animals from all over the world living in their semi-aquatic, freshwater and marine habitats. Explore the exhibits and attractions and see the beauty of the ocean, including a large coral reef tank, as well as some of the most gorgeous, exotic, endangered and dangerous creatures found in the water.
Head to North Bowl for the ultimate leisurely hang out. Housed in a renovated former garage, this bowling alley is "strikingly different" because it doubles as a nightlife haven. With a retro 1950s vibe going on, North Bowl offers good, clean family recreation and fun before 9PM as well as two bars and a lounge area for the 21 and up crowd.
Visit Independence Hall, the centerpiece of Independence National Historical Park, and the reason why Philadelphia is regarded as the Birthplace of America. In this building, the Declaration of Independence and the United State Constitution were debated, drafted and adopted. Tour the facility's exhibits and attractions and celebrate the legacy of the American dream.
