The carefully preserved and restored Georgian-style house was supposedly the home to Betsy Ross, sewer of the first American flag, and her first husband, John Ross, during the American Revolution. Get the family to explore the beauty of nature when you go to the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum. Bond at one of the many family-friendly festivals hosted throughout the year or just spend some quality time walking along the trails, canoeing in the lagoon or trying to spot the natural wildlife.

Raise a glass to Tippler’s Tour. This adult only tour is held at 5:30PM on Thursdays from April until December during which participants can enjoy a selection of local brews as they learn about the city’s history.
