The Philadelphia Museum of Art hosts regular Art After 5 events each week for an eclectic blend of entertainment sure to impress your date. Nestled along the Schuylkill River, the aptly named Schuylkill River Park provides a large municipal space for outdoor recreation. From the soccer fields, baseball diamond, tennis and basketball courts to the special section designated for dogs, this recreational center offers plenty of activities. Eventually, construction will connect this park to the popular Schuylkill River Trail.

Swing by one of the most visited tourist attractions: the Betsy Ross House. The carefully preserved and restored Georgian-style house was supposedly the home to Betsy Ross, sewer of the first American flag, and her first husband, John Ross, during the American Revolution. See history come to life as actors share stories and reenact scenes from this significant event.

Despite being open to the public, Secret Cinema faces limited (and sometimes changing) venues. See some of the most unique movies, all shown in 16MM film on a giant screen (not video…not ever!).
