As you admire the beauty of this enormous park, be sure to make your way towards Fairmount Park’s Whispering Benches in West Park. Formerly known as the Arch Street Opera House, the Trocadero Theatre has a rich history. Built in 1870, this entertainment venue has hosted musical comedies, vaudeville and burlesque shows, as well as an art house cinema and fine arts. Currently, this theater serves as a concert hall and dance club with a variety of popular national bands performing and recording at this venue.
