Watch great stories come to life on the Arden Theatre Company’s stage. From classic tales to contemporary plays, these various works are retold in ways that make them accessible to all ages and walks of life. Swing by one of the most visited tourist attractions: the Betsy Ross House. The carefully preserved and restored Georgian-style house was supposedly the home to Betsy Ross, sewer of the first American flag, and her first husband, John Ross, during the American Revolution. See history come to life as actors share stories and reenact scenes from this significant event.

Spend time exploring Wissahickon Valley Park’s more than 50 miles of trails that crisscross throughout the Delaware Valley. The Wissahickon Valley Trail is one of the most popular recreation trails for hiking and running, although you will see bikers and horseback riders as you cover the seven mile greenway.

Whether you are into running, biking or picnicking, the Valley Forge National Historic Park has plenty of wide-open space for you to conduct your favorite activity. Once the Continental Army’s winter encampment, this site offers more than 3,600 acres filled with rolling hills, well-worn trails, nearby waterways and historical monuments, not to mention plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun.
