Located in front of Independence Hall on Market Street, the Liberty Bell remains one of America’s greatest icons. Symbolic of freedom, the famous cracked bell is on public display in an enclosed glass case. Learn how this simple bell grew into a patriotic icon through a series of exhibits, attractions and video presentations in the Liberty Bell Center.
Fans of Auguste Rodin will not miss the Rodin Museum for the world. This famous French artist created works such as The Gates of Hell, the Burghers of Calais and The Thinker. In fact, the last piece greets visitors as they enter the courtyard. Enjoy the largest collection of the magnificent sculptor’s work seen outside of Paris!
Nestled along the Schuylkill River, the aptly named Schuylkill River Park provides a large municipal space for outdoor recreation. From the soccer fields, baseball diamond, tennis and basketball courts to the special section designated for dogs, this recreational center offers plenty of activities. Eventually, construction will connect this park to the popular Schuylkill River Trail.
