The 700 Club on North Second Street in Philadelphia might shock those who think the name is related to the talk show. Planned by William Penn during the late 17th century, Franklin Square is one of the five original open-space parks in Philadelphia. According to local legend, this park is where Benjamin Franklin conducted his famous "kite and key" lightening experiment.
