For over a century (since 1902), this auto show has brought the latest concepts and models of the car industry to Philly. The Penn Quakers of the University of Pennsylvania never quake in the face of a challenge. UPenn’s athletic department encompasses 27 varsity sports including baseball, basketball, crew, lacrosse, soccer and football. This Ivy League school shows its talent for athletics as well as academics with three NCAA national championships in men’s fencing and one in women’s.

Swing by one of the most visited tourist attractions: the Betsy Ross House. The carefully preserved and restored Georgian-style house was supposedly the home to Betsy Ross, sewer of the first American flag, and her first husband, John Ross, during the American Revolution.
