The carefully preserved and restored Georgian-style house was supposedly the home to Betsy Ross, sewer of the first American flag, and her first husband, John Ross, during the American Revolution. See history come to life as actors share stories and reenact scenes from this significant event.

This adult only tour is held at 5:30PM on Thursdays from April until December during which participants can enjoy a selection of local brews as they learn about the city’s history. Nestled along the Schuylkill River, the aptly named Schuylkill River Park provides a large municipal space for outdoor recreation. From the soccer fields, baseball diamond, tennis and basketball courts to the special section designated for dogs, this recreational center offers plenty of activities. Eventually, construction will connect this park to the popular Schuylkill River Trail.
