Music lovers don’t skip a beat at the Riverbend Festival! The 9-day musical festival plays out in the heart of downtown Chattanooga at the 21st Century Waterfront along the Tennessee River. The award winning celebration attracts approximately 650,000 attendees and features fun activities and performances by over 100 bands playing everything from classic rock to bluegrass.

Outdoor enthusiasts spend time at the Chattanooga Tennessee Riverpark. The 150-acre Riverpark offers 13 miles of well lit and well landscaped paved trails, skirted by the beautiful Tennessee River. Avid walkers and bicyclists find the trail physically rewarding and the picturesque river views tranquil.

Don’t monkey around! Go to the Chattanooga Zoo, located in Warner Park in downtown Chattanooga. The 13-acre wild adventure is all about bringing people and animals up close and personal through ground-breaking exhibits and attractions with fun and memorable wildlife education. The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum preserves historical railroad equipment and shares impactful stories about the industry. Visitors can see train exhibits and take a train ride, such as the Dinner on the Diner ride where passengers travel past city attractions while dining on a delicious three-course meal. All aboard!
