If you love horse racing be sure to tour the Belle Meade Mansion and Winery, minutes outside of Nashville. The historic 5,400-square-foot plantation spans 30 acres and was world renowned for breeding champion thoroughbreds. Stroll the magnificent plantation and shop at the Belle Meade Museum Shop for unique horse statues.

You can explore space from right here on Earth at the Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory, with the mega telescope that sits atop Nashville's tallest peak. Families can look through the telescope to observe cumulus clouds, a galaxy of stars, the swirling rings of Saturn and other outer space attractions.

Go on a Zoofari to the Nashville Zoo. Come face-to-face with more than three hundred and fifty animals, including majestic creatures like Bengal tigers and African Elephants.
