Harvest farm fresh goodies at the Nashville Farmers' Market. Shop the marketplace's unique blend of local farmers selling fresh eggs, milk, cheese, seasonal fruits and vegetables. Stroll through the many artesian merchant shops peddling a variety of wares from fragrant hand made soaps to table fresh flowers.

It gets a little batty at Duber Cave State Park, where its most prominent natural cave used to lend its big roomy mouth to local square dances, radio shows and big band instrumental concerts; the cave is now temporarily sold out due to a thriving bat community. Bats aside, there's plenty of outdoor recreation like fishing, hiking and picnicking to enjoy, making a trip to this bat cave well worth the drive.

Go on a Zoofari to the Nashville Zoo. Come face-to-face with more than three hundred and fifty animals, including majestic creatures like Bengal tigers and African Elephants. You'll be smack in the middle of big animal adventures and attractions, including the Wild Animal Carousel and the 66,000-square-foot Jungle Gym.

If you love horse racing be sure to tour the Belle Meade Mansion and Winery, minutes outside of Nashville. The historic 5,400-square-foot plantation spans 30 acres and was world renowned for breeding champion thoroughbreds. Stroll the magnificent plantation and shop at the Belle Meade Museum Shop for unique horse statues.
