Ancient Greece's Parthenon is the proud centerpiece of Nashville's Centennial Park. The replica building is considered to be the pinnacle of classical architecture and is an attraction in the city's premier urban park. The Parthenon also serves as Nashville's art museum. The focus of the Parthenon's permanent collection is a group of 63 paintings by 19th and 20th century American artists donated by James M. Cowan. Additional gallery spaces provide a venue for a variety of temporary shows and exhibits.

Enjoy walking at Centennial Park in Nashville as you journey through the park's 132 acres on a one-mile walking trail. After you've accomplished a walk in the park, check out all the outdoor recreation and activities that include volleyball courts, an exercise trail, beautiful sunken garden and arts activity center.

Immerse yourself in the world of art at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville.  Housed inside the magnificent art deco building are art installations changing every six to eight weeks showcasing A Divine Light: Renaissance painting from Bob Jones to Warhol Live; Music and Dance in Warhol's work.
