Surreal Sculptures by Ho Baron, a remarkable artist passionate about creating surreal narrative sculptures, has produced his unique works of art for the last fifty years. His Sculpture Garden is now open to the public, offering an opportunity to view his stunning creations free of charge. The garden can be seen from Piedras anytime, and visitors can take a leisurely walk there during daylight hours. The garden features ten life-size figurative sculptures, each handcrafted using cast stone and bronze. Ho Baron's sculptures are whimsical and anthropomorphic, each piece lending itself to various scenarios. In addition to his sculptures, Ho Baron also creates incredible pen-and-ink drawings, photographs, and assemblages. The public is welcome to visit the garden and marvel at these fabulous works of art.
Improve your imagination and cognitive skills with a visit to Insights El Paso Science Center, which offers interactive science education experiences to the Border Region. Every year, they introduce new exhibits, including a dinosaur-themed pop-up museum exhibit in collaboration with UTEP and El Paso Community College. They receive nearly 8,000 annual visitors and host around 1700 student field trips. Insight promotes STEAM education through exploratory, interactive learning experiences that are creative and profoundly innovative.
