El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center

The El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center is a commemorative site in Downtown El Paso. It pays tribute to the millions of individuals who lost their lives in the atrocities committed by the Nazi Regime between 1933 to 1945. The Museum has a permanent exhibit showcases multi-media galleries, including the Moving Gallery of El Paso Holocaust Survivors. Using education, outreach, and cultural activities, visitors can expand their knowledge about the Holocaust and understand how to fight against bigotry and intolerance. The Museum provides materials in both English and Spanish, and it also offers year-round programs to complement its lessons. Admission is free of charge, but visitors are encouraged to make donations.

El Paso Playhouse El Paso Playhouse

The El Paso Playhouse is a community theater that has been running for the longest time in El Paso. Initially known as the Festival Theatre, it has gone through several transformations and locations over the past 50 years. The theater offers various performing arts performances, including mysteries, comedies, dramas, and many others. In its 48 years, the theater has witnessed numerous changes, from paint colors to the genre of plays performed on stage and the countless actors and patrons visiting it. Yet, it has remained a solid and enduring institution that entertains, engages, and educates people from all walks of life through theatrical performances and community involvement.
