Established in 1986, the association aims to promote cultural heritage, diversity, and economic development by facilitating education, preservation, and tourism efforts in the local community. The passionate members of the El Paso Mission Trail Association are committed to fostering an appreciation for the living cultural legacies that have played a vital role in our shared history.

Here, you can embark on an exciting journey through the rich history of the U.S. Border Patrol, from its inception in the Old West to its evolution through Prohibition, World War II, and into the high-tech Patrol of today. You can explore exhibits featuring uniforms, vehicles, and weaponry that showcase the progress made by the Border Patrol over the years. Your visit to the Museum will be a fulfilling experience that will inspire you and leave you with pride and understanding. You can also visit their illustrious Gift Shop, which is available online, to purchase exclusive U.S. Border Patrol products not found anywhere else. All proceeds from the Gift Shop go towards supporting the maintenance of the Museum, which helps keep its doors open to the public 100% free of charge.  

The Sun Bowl Association is a non-profit organization that operates with the help of over 700 volunteers. The Association aims to serve and promote the El Paso community by organizing yearly events. These events culminate with the Annual Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl football game. Some of the other key events organized by the Sun Bowl Association include the Sun Bowl Adult Flag Football Tournament, the Peter Piper Pizza Sun Bowl Punt, Pass and Kick, the Sun Bowl All-America Golf Classic, the Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers Sun Bowl Parade, the WestStar Don Haskins Sun Bowl Basketball Invitational, and the Sun Bowl Fan Fiesta.
