Since its opening in May 2016, the Bryan House has hosted various events, including historical tours, educational workshops, festivals, murder mysteries, boutique weddings, birthday parties, photography shoots, corporate events, bed and breakfast accommodations, and farmers markets. They aim to create an environment that celebrates and fosters creativity, community, and history. Additionally, they want to support and highlight the area's talented small business owners, artists, farmers, and artisans, showcasing the best of South Texas.

The Weslaco Museum was established to preserve, exhibit, and raise awareness about the history, cultural arts, and traditions of Weslaco, Texas, and the surrounding regions. It was the result of a collaborative effort by the community that began in the 1960s. At that time, the city leaders had called for the collection of stories and artifacts from prominent businesses and families in the area. This collection was the foundation for a published book celebrating the City's 50th anniversary. One of the exciting things about the Museum's collections is the photographs from Weslaco's annual "Birthday Party" fashion show. The Chamber of Commerce organized this event to showcase the fruits and vegetables grown in the Rio Grande Valley. Residents created and modeled clothing from local fruits, vegetables, and flowers.
