The Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center offers visitors not only a chance to get familiar with some of the ocean's most amazing creatures, but to also get closer to them. In addition to offering various seasonal whale and dolphin watching tours, the facility also provides something even more unique. When the aquarium's researchers bring back the assorted haul of various fish and invertebrates from their latest deep sea collection trips, you can be there to see what unusual creatures they have brought back for further study. There is also an opportunity to take a pontoon trip around the Owls Creek Salt Marsh. Let your imagination be stirred by not only the many creatures and exhibits at the aquarium, but also by the science and oceanic-themed features that are available here. Graceful movement, dramatic staging and sweeping music all combine to create the art of an unforgettable performance, which is the benchmark of the Conservatory Of Dance. The ballet was established in 1975 and has been preserving the art of classical ballet and dance entertainment in Virginia Beach ever since. The group is a forum in which aspiring dancers can develop their talents as well as work toward being a part of the group that stages various productions throughout the year. These performances are funded in part by the City of Virginia Beach in cooperation with the Virginia Beach Arts and Humanities Commission and the Virginia Beach Foundation.

You will find many items here that range from antique dolls to vintage furniture and much more. These classic pieces make up an antique inventory that has been obtained from over 130 dealers. Also, there are various auctions held during the week that feature some of the most noteworthy and collectible items.
