Virginia Beach's Symphonicity is taking the classical music experience to a completely new level. Formerly known as the Virginia Beach Symphony Orchestra, the group is made up of a surprising group of players. Not only does it feature current and former members of the symphony, it also calls on the talents of some of the finest musicians in the area. This not only includes retired and active symphony members but also public school teachers, freelance musicians, private instructors and composers, as well as business professionals, homemakers and a select group of high school students. The 100-plus members of this unique group perform regularly with the goal of bringing the classics to as wide an audience of music lovers as possible.

Enjoy a whale of a time when you get on board for a Dolphin and Whale Watching Boat Trip in Virginia Beach. See bottlenose dolphins and humpback whales play in their natural environment when you observe them from the unique vantage point of Rudee Tours. The tour is led by respected naturalists and professionals from the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center who will point out several interesting pieces of information about the dolphins and whales that you will see on this unique excursion. This unique walkway commemorates the work of some of the most influential Virginians like Ella Fitzgerald, Patsy Cline, Edgar Allan Poe, Douglas MacArthur, Robert E. Lee, and Arthur Ashe, just to name a few. It was inaugurated in 1999 and new names are regularly added to this fitting and entertaining tribute.
