This is the oldest continuous performing arts group in Virginia Beach, as the chorale gave its first performance back in 1958. The group has worked on developing an impressive entertainment repertoire that includes classics, Broadway, jazz and even rock. The group performs two main concerts a year that include a spring show and a special Christmas presentation.

The facilities for camping are top notch as they include a camp store and laundry facilities. The park was established in the 1930s, and also is noted for being the northernmost point at which temperate and subtropical plants coexist. The park also features handicap accessibility and offer cabin rentals.
