The Pathfinder Reservoir is situated on the North Platte River between Casper and Rawlins. It sits 47 miles southwest of Casper. The reservoir is part of the Pathfinder National Wildlife Refuge. It is a favorite destination for family fun and water recreation like swimming, fishing and water skiing during the summer months.

As their slogan says, this is where the champions meet to duke it out for the much coveted titles in various events. Experience some of Wyoming's wildest wildlife without having to venture out into the wild. You only have to go as far as exploring the attractions at the Werner Wildlife Museum, a facility that is affiliated with Casper College. Several incredible creatures are featured as stuffed and mounted representatives of the various species from the area. See grizzly bears, mountain lions, and birds of prey. The museum also includes displays of animals from Canada, Alaska, Africa, Southeast Asia as well as other exotic places from around the globe.

Both the Casper Symphony Orchestra and the Casper College Theatre Department make the Gertrude Krampert Theatre their home base. Aside from delivering consistently impressive musical and dramatic performances, the entertainment venue also hosts various seasonal productions as well as performances from various regional and national artists.
