Carrying the tradition of performing arts from generation to generation is the primary goal of the Theatre of the Performing Arts. The festival is a partnership between Mudgub Madness, Red River Revel Arts Festival, Eldorado Casino and downtown Shreveport Unlimited. Proceeds benefit additional programs provided by the DSU and the Revel so a good cause benefits from such a fun and highly attended event.

It attracts both the younger crowd as well as the older set, not only for its late-night bar charm but also because it is within walking distance from two casinos in the Red River District underneath the Neon Bridge.
