A two-lane boat ramp is just one of the many attractive features to be found at Great Bridge Lock Park. Located along the Intracoastal Waterway just off Battlefield Boulevard, this spot is named after the lock that separates saltwater and freshwater bodies of water, which of course offers anglers the opportunity to catch different types of fish as they light out to the body of water of their choice. Also, the abundant wildlife in the surrounding area of the farm is protected from hunters, so don't be surprised to see hawks, quail, rabbits, deer and gray foxes during your visit.

Take a tour that will take you back to one of the last remaining antebellum homes when you visit the Lee Hall Mansion. Originally built between 1851 and 1859, this impressive structure was the home of affluent planter Richard Decauter Lee. The Victorian-styled home never fails to mesmerize the many visitors who quietly tour the various rooms which are furnished with impressively detailed, authentic furniture and accessories. Also, there are special events and evening programs that are planned year round.

Despite the fact that the Battleship Wisconsin is located in Norfolk, die-hard history buffs don't mind the drive at all. This impressive battleship museum is one of the largest and the last ever built by the United States Navy. When you visit, you can take a dramatic walk on its deck on a self-guided tour and see other parts of the ship. A gift shop as well as several excellent photo opportunities are available at this popular historic attraction.
