The UAB Blazers maintain their sizable sports following for the University of Alabama. The university's football team is one of the twelve member institutions of Conference USA and plays its home games at Legion Field. The men's basketball team is also supported by a legion of enthusiastic fans and plays its home games at Bartow Arena.

When you visit, be prepared for non-stop fun that includes such popular recreational activities as miniature golf, bumper boats, go karts, batting cages and an incredible arcade. Plus, there's a big snack bar and venue availability for birthday parties and other special events.

Birmingham's Red Mountain Theatre both celebrates and fosters the talents of the many actors, singers and performers who make their home here. This is a non-profit professional theater organization that gives both training and performing opportunities to aspiring and culturally diverse artists. The troupe presents various entertainment productions throughout the year, with a special emphasis on musical productions.
