Bruce Springsteen, the Foo Fighters, ZZ Top, Britney Spears, Elton John, Aerosmith, Prince, AC/DC, Eric Clapton, Metallica, Rod Stewart, Van Halen, Bob Seger and James Taylor all have two things in common - they are some of the biggest names in the music business, and they have all graced the stage at the Verizon Arena. Keep your eye on the schedule for the next big performer to rock the entertainment venue.

Head to a state-wide party and have some fun at the Arkansas State Fair. The festival has it all - food, drinks, music, carnival rides, a livestock show, professional bull riding, a beauty pageant, dozens of contests, shopping, shows and more. Plan to spend a couple of days visiting the fair, because you just can't experience it all in one day.

Take a walk, run, or bike ride down the Arkansas River Trail - or at least part of it. The recreation trail stretches over eleven miles but isn't quite finished yet, when completed it will cover a total of 24 miles. If you decide to brave the whole trail, you'll be walking from downtown Little Rock, to Pinnacle Mountain State Park, from North Little Rock to Cook's Landing, and eventually across Murray Lock and Dam to the Presidential Library. That's a lot of ground to cover, be sure to wear some comfy shoes!
