Visit the Arkansas Arts Center to see exhibits that showcase some extraordinary art pieces. Tour the Arkansas State Capitol and get a closer look at the state's history and government operations. The beautiful building is almost 100 years old and features portraits and bronze busts of past governors, murals, the official state seal, and an exquisite cupola covered in 24-karat gold, among other attractions and facets of interest. While visiting the capitol, be sure to walk the grounds around the building. The land surrounding the capitol holds various memorial statues and figures, along with flourishing gardens.
