Catch the next production hosted by the The Weekend Theater. Like its name states, the theater holds live entertainment on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. My Fair Lady, The Miracle Worker, Equus, Sweeney Todd, Six Degrees of Separation, Evita, Nine, Driving Miss Daisy, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, are just a few of the shows that have been presented by The Weekend Theater.
Learn about African American history within the state of Arkansas at the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center. The exhibits at this cultural center and museum focus on the contributions made to business, politics, and arts by African American individuals. The center explores the time periods between 1870 to present day, and sheds light on how important the African American impact has been in the state, the nation and the world.
Take the kids back to the days of the skating rink at the Arkansas Skatium. Head out on Friday or Sunday night to hear music hits from when you were young, both nights the DJ spins oldies, disco, 80s and everything in between. Don't worry about buying skates, you can rent a pair there - all you need to bring are your skating skills.
Check out one of the many metropolitan, community, and neighborhood parks that are part of the Little Rock City Parks & Recreation network. With over 50 parks available, you'll be able to enjoy the outdoors no matter where you are in the city. Our favorites are Allsopp Park, MacArthur Park, Murray Park, and Riverfront Park.
