Take a walk, run, or bike ride down the Arkansas River Trail - or at least part of it. The recreation trail stretches over eleven miles but isn't quite finished yet, when completed it will cover a total of 24 miles. If you decide to brave the whole trail, you'll be walking from downtown Little Rock, to Pinnacle Mountain State Park, from North Little Rock to Cook's Landing, and eventually across Murray Lock and Dam to the Presidential Library. That's a lot of ground to cover, be sure to wear some comfy shoes!
Develop your green thumb with skills learned from the professionals you'll meet at the Arkansas Flower & Garden Show. Over 100 landscaping and gardening vendors participate in the event, offering "how to" advice, tips for gardening, plants and yard décor to beautify your backyard, and more. You'll leave this festival a more knowledgeable horticulturist, with some loot to make your garden look good.
Take a downtown ride at River Market with the Little Rock Horse & Company or book them for a special occasion with your special someone. Romance is their specialty with horse drawn carriages of all types featuring American Belgian Draft Horses from Disney World.
