Charley's Place is a Glendale nightlife favorite for many reasons, not the least of which is the fact that this friendly bar and grill keeps its kitchen open until 10 o'clock every night except on Sunday. There are many interesting exhibits and attractions that detail various aspects of police work. In addition, get up close to some historically significant pieces that include vintage uniforms, guns, photos, mug shots and other assorted items that paint an all-encompassing picture of the importance and development of police work in American society.

Glendale's Deer Valley Rock Art Center will challenge what you know about art. In more than one way, this attraction will “rock” your world, as the center houses several unique examples of rock paintings and petroglyphs. Some of these impressive rock sculptures are displayed outside the venue, and can be seen in all their glory along the adjacent walking path. As you move along this picturesque trail, you will also be treated to the sight of a beautiful garden and an impressive amphitheater.
