Charley's Place is a Glendale nightlife favorite for many reasons, not the least of which is the fact that this friendly bar and grill keeps its kitchen open until 10 o'clock every night except on Sunday. Plus, the many pool tables and dart boards make it fun to hang out after work and well into the evening. Give the kids a chance to see and experience all the fun and hard work that is part of life on the farm when you plan to bring them to the Annual Family Farm Day in Glendale. The Tolmachoff farm holds this annual festival in June and it is an excellent opportunity to visit the farm with the whole family. There are plenty of educational and fun things to see and experience, a couple of the most popular being the train rides and photo ops with a pony.

Glendale's Northern Horizon Park offers the chance for the two of you get enjoy some healthy exercise and outdoor relaxation. This impressively expansive area is the city's premier dog park and offers many fenced-in areas and activities designed to assure that your four-legged friend gets some great exercise while staying safe. There is a separate area for larger dogs, too.
