Glendale's Deer Valley Rock Art Center will challenge what you know about art. Settle in for an evening of live theatrical entertainment with a unique twist when you plan to catch one of Spotlight Youth Theatre's many productions. These are some of Glendale's most talented up-and-coming thespians who have a natural gift for various types of on-stage performances. Whether it's comedy, drama, musicals or a little bit of everything, this troupe puts on a regular series of plays and other types of revues all year long. These young and gifted actors and actresses are sponsored by various local, regional and national businesses, whose generosity makes it possible for them to take the stage.

Take to the skies for a history lesson that has an impressively large wingspan. Discover the stories that are all a part of the Luke Air Force Base, a place that proudly touts itself as the “Home of the Fighter Pilot.” See various aircraft and learn about the role they played in various historical eras. Also, learn about the men who got in the cockpits to steer these planes into the history books. Tours and groups of 15 to 40 persons can be arranged by calling the base in advance.
