Take to the skies for a history lesson that has an impressively large wingspan. Also, learn about the men who got in the cockpits to steer these planes into the history books. Tours and groups of 15 to 40 persons can be arranged by calling the base in advance.

Glendale's Sahuaro Ranch Park has many stories to tell. Discover them as they come to life during your visit to this historic area that features thirteen original buildings and house museums that offer a multidimensional snapshot of what life was like here decades ago. There is also a beautiful rose garden, an interesting barnyard and and a vintage orchard stand that are all listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Tolmachoff farm holds this annual festival in June and it is an excellent opportunity to visit the farm with the whole family. There are plenty of educational and fun things to see and experience, a couple of the most popular being the train rides and photo ops with a pony.
