One of the most impactful exhibits is the Arizona Gratitude Train boxcar, sent to the state as a token of gratitude from France after World War II. The artifacts, such as a wedding dress from Lyon and a Peugeot bicycle, pay tribute to Arizona's resilience and strength.

Take a break from your usual routine and check out Barktoberfest. You and your furry friend can enjoy various activities, including unique crafts, pet games, a costume contest, and even a dog wash. The best part? All proceeds from the festival go to support Friends For Life Animal Rescue Shelter, which has been voted Arizona's best animal shelter. This event has been running for 23 years, becoming one of Gilbert's longest-running annual festivals. Welcome to a little slice of Western heritage that offers much to see, so take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know. One of the main attractions is the large walk-in petting zoo. It's complete with pigs, chickens, peacocks, goats, sheep, and miniature ponies waiting for you to pet and show them some love. In addition to the petting zoo, yard games are scattered throughout the Ranch. You're welcome to try roping a steer, playing a game of connect four, giant jean-ga, horseshoes, and more. These games are guaranteed to keep the whole family entertained for hours.
