Visit the last remaining basilica in Arizona, St. Mary's Basilica. As the oldest Catholic parish in the city, this beautiful church has a rich history and is worth a visit. St. Mary's Basilica is also one of the most-photographed religious icons in the area. The structure has an otherworldly, unique atmosphere, and visitors often live in a peaceful state of mind. Interestingly, in 1985, Pope John Paul II declared St. Mary's a Minor Basilica, a massive deal in the Catholic Church. So, if you're in Phoenix, check out this fantastic piece of history.
Welcome to a little slice of Western heritage that offers much to see, so take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know. One of the main attractions is the large walk-in petting zoo. It's complete with pigs, chickens, peacocks, goats, sheep, and miniature ponies waiting for you to pet and show them some love. In addition to the petting zoo, yard games are scattered throughout the Ranch. You're welcome to try roping a steer, playing a game of connect four, giant jean-ga, horseshoes, and more. These games are guaranteed to keep the whole family entertained for hours.
Let the fun begin! Bring the family to Castles N' Coasters, where knights and princesses can ride roller coasters, splash around on the water rides, and play miniature golf. The rides and attractions here are only tame. On one wild ride, you'll also find the Desert Storm coaster, with vertical drops, flips, and spins. Castles N Coasters has thrill-seeking attractions to fit everyone's interest, including getting a little wet on Splashdown, flying to great heights, and instantly falling on Sky Diver. Family fun since 1977, Castles N Coasters is your destination for FUN.
