The Gaslight Theatre has been providing top-notch family entertainment to Tucson since 1977. They offer musical comedy melodramas six nights a week and five different shows yearly, ranging from Westerns and sci-fi spoofs to famous Christmas shows and everything in between. The Maverick is Tucson's oldest and longest-running live country music venue, with a history spanning over 60 years. They take pride in their vast dance floor, three separate bars, pool tables, top-notch food, and dance lessons offered five nights a week. They only feature the best in live country music, and they have great drink specials every night. Founded in 1962, The Maverick relocated to a bigger and better location on Tucson's famous "restaurant row" of Tanque Verde Road. They aren't a trendy country-themed warehouse dancehall; they have an old-school honky-tonk heart with a Cheers-like attitude, where everybody knows your name.
