Goodpaster's Mechanical Contractors, Inc. - Broken Arrow, OK

A family and Veteran-owned business, and licensed in the state of Oklahoma, Goodpaster's Mechanical Contractors, Inc. specializes in residential and commercial heating and cooling repair and installation projects in the Broken Arrow and Tulsa Metro area. Dedicated to providing fast, friendly, and affordable HVAC services since 2012, Goodpaster’s Mechanical offers Maintenance Agreements and free estimates on replacement systems to provide the best indoor air quality solutions home or business.

A solo entrepreneur, and part of America's small business landscape, Donald Hagans was born on the fourth of July in North Carolina during a family event. He proudly joined the Marine Corp in 1977 and served until 1984, with the intent to focus on his wife and three young boys. Donald attended Northern Virginia Community College to pursue studies in Heating and Air Conditioning and started his first heating and air job in 1988. Shortly after in 1990, he moved his family to Tulsa, Oklahoma to focus on additional educational pursuits. In 1992 he graduated from Climate Control Institute and received his Air Conditioning license for use in the State of Oklahoma.

After twenty-four years in the industry, Donald and his wife Veronica purchased Goodpaster's Mechanical Contractors in 2012 from the original retiring owner. They strove to ensure that Goodpaster's Mechanical remained a trusted voice in the community with a continued focus on scoring high praise for their honesty, transparency, and willingness to explain the problem exactly as it is.

Donald and Veronica developed the Goodpaster's Mechanical "Once a Year" program. An internal program that aims to help one unexpected elderly person, single parent, or struggling family with donated time and service to ensure they remain cool during the hot summer or warm during the cold winter when possible.

Sadly, Donald's wife Veronica passed away in 2015. Her touch can still be felt through the company’s commitment to treating each customer like an individual and not just another number. Additionally, the "Once a Year" program was renamed "Hearts of Veronica" in her honor.
