Fresno Chaffee Zoo
Embrace the wild at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo. You can find all sorts of exotic animals at this accredited zoo, including large cats, birds, reptiles and the popular elephants. Located in the center of Roeding Park, this wild attraction was originally a safe haven for abandoned exotic pets. It has grown to encompass more than 18 acres since its creation in 1929 in a log cabin.
Fresno Convention Center
Located off of Highway 41, the Fresno Convention Center consists of five entertainment venues that host a variety of athletic, musical and theatrical performances year-round. Kearney Mansion Museum
Home to the Fresno Historical Society, the Kearney Mansion Museum can be found in Kearney Park. This historic mansion has been preserved and restored over the years, and is now considered Central Valley's most important agricultural historic site.
