Located off of Highway 41, the Fresno Convention Center consists of five entertainment venues that host a variety of athletic, musical and theatrical performances year-round. The Exhibit Halls, Saroyan Theatre, Valdez Hall, Selland Arena and the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center are the perfect places to host concerts, art exhibits, conferences and meetings in the city of Fresno.

Visit Fresno County's first park. Kearney Park is 225 acres and offers picnic and outdoor sports facilities in its day-use areas. Play a game of soccer, test your skills at horseshoe, hit a few balls at the softball and baseball fields or let the children have fun on the playground. When the heat's too much, visit the Kearney Mansion Museum for some educational fun and air conditioning.

If you visit in October, be sure to look up the Big Fresno Fair. As its name suggests, this is Fresno County's big annual festival, and is actually the fifth largest fair in the state. Come by for live musical performances by local, regional, national and even international artists. The carnival and special exhibits promise all-day fun for people of all ages.

Nature lovers will not want to miss the chance to explore Woodward Regional Park. This 300-acre park is home to a number of attractions. It has a multi-use amphitheatre, an authentic Japanese Garden, an extensive trail system, three children's playgrounds, a fenced dog park and several bodies of water.
