Bring the family to spend the day exploring the ocean and over 35,000 aquatic creatures through the exhibits and attractions at this one-of-a-kind aquarium perched on the Pacific coast's edge. You'll find the aquarium along the historic Cannery Row.

Go the distance at the Big Sur International Marathon. The annual marathon attracts more than 4,000 participants annually that run 26.2 miles along one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. If you participate, make sure you take plenty of care while setting out on your journey; it takes great discipline to conquer the hills along the way to the finish line.

Visit the Monterey Museum of Art to find one museum with two locations. The Pacific Street location houses permanent collections that are the heart and soul of artists who flocked to the city in the late 19th century, while the La Mirada location houses modern collections from around the world.
