The Spanish Village Art Center not only offers you a chance to view and appreciate the work of several local and regional artists, but you can also take some of it home with you, too! Watercolors, prints, photographs, and even jewelry are all on display and most have reasonable price tags that make it easy to not only adorn your home with a unique piece of work, but you also support local art and the people who continue to create it. This center is, in a sense, a small colony of 37 working artists' studios and the building's design resembles that of a Spanish town square to give it a unique feel and flavor.
The San Diego Bay Parade of Lights is a Christmas time tradition that families have been enjoying for years as a celebration of the holiday season. The boats in the harbor are adorned with flickering lights and take part in an aquatic parade that puts smiles on the faces of all who sit and watch.
The Lyceum Theater prides itself in being a state-of-the-art, popular venue for unusual and striking arts presentations that span every imaginable style, approach and genre. This theater complex is also the home of the San Diego Repertory Theatre. The venue boasts three stages which include the medium-sized Space Theatre, the larger Stage Theatre and the small Underground Stage that all offer different types of productions and presentations. There's always appealing entertainment on the performance schedule, so check often and get your tickets to see any of the great shows coming to the Lyceum.
