The beach stretches three miles along the western side of the city from Richmond to Sunset. This beach perfectly exemplifies the untouched outdoor beauty of the western part of San Francisco as it looked before it was fully developed. When you take that fact into consideration, Ocean Beach is even more alluring, as the inviting sandscapes and sound of the waves will draw you in, whether the season is warm or cool. One of the most essential sites to see in San Francisco is the Golden Gate Bridge. The bridge connects San Francisco to Marin County, and if you are on the Marin side, you will get a captivating view from a spot called Vista Point. The San Francisco Giants baseball team is a Major League team that plays at AT&T Park which opened in 2000. The stadium was actually the cornerstone project of the South Beach and Mission Bay redevelopment. The sports team hit the diamond season after season for 52 years before winning the World Series in 2010.
