McKinley Square is one of the city's most popular park areas. Because of its location on a hillside, it offers spectacular views that combine the majestic backdrop of San Francisco with the more urban realities of the various roofs of the nearby houses to give it a special kind of balance. The neighborhood charm of the park is evident, as several people are out walking their dogs, playing with the kids or just taking a quick stroll down one of the many walking trails. This is most definitely a great place to come breathe in some fresh air and enjoy time outdoors before heading back to your usual routine.
One of the most essential sites to see in San Francisco is the Golden Gate Bridge. Getting up close to this amazing attraction, the kids will be able to see what an incredibly built structure this bridge is. The bridge connects San Francisco to Marin County, and if you are on the Marin side, you will get a captivating view from a spot called Vista Point. But given the ocean, the sailboats, and the natural landscape in and around the bridge, it is difficult to find a place where the view isn't absolutely stunning.
Many visitors have claimed that the Japanese Tea Garden, located inside of Golden Gate Park, is perhaps the most beautiful and serene part of San Francisco. That statement may very well be true, as hundreds of people have had the pleasure of seeing the garden and spending time taking in its incredible natural amenities. The landscaping is truly breathtaking, as well as the detailed Japanese sculptures and miniature pagodas that are also featured here. So when you're in San Francisco, make plans to experience the Japanese Tea Garden's mesmerizing, almost intoxicating natural allure.
