At The EndUp, the spirit of celebration goes beyond just having a good time. The men and women who serve on our military forces always deserve special recognition for their hard work and diligent sacrifices. San Francisco goes a step further to celebrate their efforts with Fleet Week, held every October. Families of those currently serving as well as veterans and their families are sure to enjoy the events of Fleet Week that include such attractions as an air show by the Blue Angels, Team Oracle, and the Air Force's F-16 Demonstration Team. Other events that are part of the festival include a Marine Band concert, ship tours, a fireworks display, and a parade of ships.

Do any of your kids show an interest in art? Whether they love to create it or just take it all in, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art will more than likely inspire some new ideas. Several styles of modern art are featured as the museum regularly rotates its exhibits and attractions. In addition to viewing the art, the kids can actually create some of their own in the various modern art hands-on workshops that are provided on Family Sundays. But be prepared for a good workout, as the museum is an impressive six stories that is topped by a 145-foot skylight tower that the kids will surely want to check out.

Golden Gate Park is nearly as iconic as the bridge it is named for. This incredibly beautiful swath of land is lush, inviting and peaceful. The park is the perfect place for a quiet outdoor picnic, scenic walk or just sitting and enjoying the exceptional views. On a larger scale, this park features 1,000 acres of gardens, meadows, lakes, and even a golf course, along with internationally recognized art and science museums. In short, the park offers something special for both locals and visitors who not only love nature, but the whole experience of being in San Francisco as well.
