Golden Gate National Parks' beaches are among the area's most popular destinations for beach lovers. Ocean Beach most definitely falls into that category. The beach stretches three miles along the western side of the city from Richmond to Sunset. This beach perfectly exemplifies the untouched outdoor beauty of the western part of San Francisco as it looked before it was fully developed. When you take that fact into consideration, Ocean Beach is even more alluring, as the inviting sandscapes and sound of the waves will draw you in, whether the season is warm or cool. In the latter case, you can choose to warm up by grabbing a coffee or latte at Java Beach coffee shop.

San Francisco's Castro Theatre is a stunning tribute to the experience of taking in a movie. Built in 1922, this historic theater has hosted several film festivals showcasing the work of world-renowned actors and directors. You will often find some of the world's best-loved movies on the marquee, as it only makes sense that such a classically beautiful venue would screen equally elegant films that still stand as testaments to the art of fine movie making. You and your date will enjoy the romantic experience of sitting in such a classy theater where the experience of watching a film in such a vintage setting will only deepen your appreciation for not only the film that you're watching, but for each other as well.

One of the most essential sites to see in San Francisco is the Golden Gate Bridge. Getting up close to this amazing attraction, the kids will be able to see what an incredibly built structure this bridge is. The bridge connects San Francisco to Marin County, and if you are on the Marin side, you will get a captivating view from a spot called Vista Point. But given the ocean, the sailboats, and the natural landscape in and around the bridge, it is difficult to find a place where the view isn't absolutely stunning.
