There are group camping sites available, or just enough space for you and the family. Either way, camping fees apply and they do not include the price of a park pass. The site gets rave reviews for being a safe, quiet area with lots of great amenities and attractions that include walking paths, horse stables, restrooms, jet ski rentals and even firewood for your campsite.

Boot scoot to your heart's content at Stampede, Aurora's favorite country dance club. The nightlife venue not only offers an expansive dance floor and an excellent musical selection spun by expert DJs, but you'll also find a very well-stocked bar, an inviting patio and even some pool tables to enjoy. Plus, there's a great menu of munchies to help satisfy the appetite you're very likely to work up when you hit the floor!

Nature lovers and fans of the great outdoors absolutely love the Morrison Nature Center, and for plenty of good reasons! This venue is the perfect avenue by which you can encounter some of Aurora's natural beauty. The Morrison Nature Center is located on Star K Ranch, which is over 200 acres and is part of the Sand Creek Regional Greenway. This Greenway is a 14-mile trail system that connects Aurora to Denver and Commerce City, and that long stretch of nature offers plenty of excellent opportunities to see some of the area's most amazing wildlife in its natural habitat.

If you're feeling lucky, then make plans to take a casino trip from Aurora to Black Hawk and Central City. This fun attraction is only a short 35 mile drive from Aurora, and you can enjoy gambling in Central City and Black Hawk. Central City is commonly referred to as the "Richest Square Mile on Earth" as it was a key area during the mining boom. Perhaps you'll strike gold of a different sort when your slot machine hits the big jackpot!
