Aurora hikers hold the Cherry Creek Spillway in high regard as it is the main connecting trail between the Toll Gate system and Cherry Creek State Park and Greenway. Hikers can access this recreation trail from the east from Chambers Road at Yale Avenue. The west access point is the Parker Road underpass for Hampden Drive.

This is a unique destination where visitors can browse the farmers market and find a wide assortment of locally grown fruits and vegetables that include plums, peaches, squash, watermelon, honeydew, cantaloup, beets, carrots, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and lots more. Plus, the kids will enjoy attractions like the petting zoo, the pumpkin patch, the corn maze and lots of other great family fun. Mazzotti Farms are located 2 miles south and 2 miles east of Hudson, Colorado.

Nature lovers and fans of the great outdoors absolutely love the Morrison Nature Center, and for plenty of good reasons! This venue is the perfect avenue by which you can encounter some of Aurora's natural beauty. The Morrison Nature Center is located on Star K Ranch, which is over 200 acres and is part of the Sand Creek Regional Greenway. This Greenway is a 14-mile trail system that connects Aurora to Denver and Commerce City, and that long stretch of nature offers plenty of excellent opportunities to see some of the area's most amazing wildlife in its natural habitat.
