For the past several years, the Aurora Fox Arts Center has carried on the tradition of providing great theatrical entertainment by delivering consistently excellent performances to the delight of many audiences. The building itself is an historic landmark located in the city's East End Arts District, the epicenter of performing arts in the area. There is always an enticing array of entertainment on the schedule that includes plays, musicals, children's theater, and concerts, as well as performing classes for theater-lovers of all ages.

Aurora hikers hold the Cherry Creek Spillway in high regard as it is the main connecting trail between the Toll Gate system and Cherry Creek State Park and Greenway. Hikers can access this recreation trail from the east from Chambers Road at Yale Avenue. The west access point is the Parker Road underpass for Hampden Drive.

Take a walk through the passageways and dirt roads that make up the DeLaney Farm Historic District to get an idea of how significant the tradition of farming has been throughout our nation's history. Although this parcel of land was named a landmark in 1997, you will feel like you've gone back several years when you see the meticulously restored buildings on the farm, including Gully Homestead House. This farm was originally home of the DeLaney family who raised horses, dairy cattle and other livestock.

From the highest climactic notes to the sweeping grandeur of the big finale, watching an opera is truly a feast for the senses. You can feast your eyes on several productions that Opera Colorado stages throughout the year. The company regularly stages three operas (four performances each) at the beautiful Ellie Caulkins Opera House at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. The professionals both on stage and behind the scenes are truly committed to presenting the most impressive performances and high-class entertainment that the company has become known for throughout its distinguished tenure.
